Hey guys!
So I'm going to begin to post a little more on here. I've just started working again and have put myself on a challenge, no spending money on clothes, shoes, accessories for two months! I am a self-diagnosed shopoholic haha. I'm really going to try to set my finances in order this year ( no, its not a little too late) :). Anyway journey on with me. I'll be posting some of my outfits on here to remind of how i wear them and well to see how i can remix them. Most of what i wear to work, i can also wear out and to church so let's see how this goes. To begin here is a picture of me from a birthday dinner a few weeks. If you're wondering what i'm wearing it's a one shouldered-black Susie Rose for Walmart dress with a Sea-Green Forever21 Necklace.

Hardware Review: Canon S95
In a fast-growing technological age, we all should be equipped with the best hardware available. I’ve been in dire need of a new digital camera, but have fallen in love with Digital SLR camera’s although I haven’t fallen in love with their pricing. I wanted a good quality camera for taking pictures inside of my students working on projects, outside of beautiful scenery and at night both inside and outside. So I set to look for a compact digital camera with DSLR quality picture taking.
My research took me first to a Nikon, since I have always been a huge Nikon fan. I came upon a Nikon Coolpix S9100 with 9.5 megapixels and 1080 @30fps movie resolution, priced at around $285, I figured it was what I was looking for but quickly realized this was more for videographers than photographers. I kept researching and came upon one of its biggest competitors, Canon. After coming across the Canon S95, I believed this must be the one. In comparison to the Nikon they both have 4x digital zoom and LCD screen is 3’’.
CANON S95
· Price: $399.00
· 10 Megapixels
· Movie resolution: 720 @24fps
· Flash range:6.5m
· Aperture: f2.0· Image Stabilization: Lens
Lighter and more expensive than its competition Nikon S9100, the more advanced features sold me. The fact that it can take pictures like a DSLR in RAW format as well as JPEG and has shutter priority is worth the extra dollars. Released August 2010,the S95 replaces the S90, with some noticeable upgrades. While the S9100 does exceptionally well on video, the S95 is better equipped for photos. It has both USB and HDMI compatibility and comes with a Lithium rechargeable battery. It does not have a viewfinder so you will be looking through the LCD screen for all images and also has a pop-up flash. I went to my local best buy to play around with it and took some photos around the store. If you’re looking for a small compact digital camera with DSLR quality photos for daily usage, this might be your best bet.

First Post!
I'm very excited about this project! I'm starting this blog as a project for a technology class but i'm excited because i read many blogs on a daily basis but never have begun one. Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Isis Paguada. I'm 22 and a college student. I hope to be a secondary Language Arts or Reading Teacher. I currently work with ELL students at a middle school, which i truly enjoy. I love to read, shop, eat, travel and make memories with photographs whenever i travel. I'm glad this class is opening me up to new experiences such as this!
